I think the downfall of both Sunshine and Galaxy is the fact that they tell you exactly what to do and they don't give you the freedom to stumble upon a different star instead. It was that freedom, puzzle solving, and exploration (in my opinion) that made SM64 so great. Galaxy is still a great game, though. I see it the exact opposite way.
