
At least in Europe that is. Thanks to site reader Bort for letting me in on this, in which he alerted me that on the European rating body website PEGIthey have given Klonoa an age rating for the Playstation Network. Now this definitely does not 100% confirm its release, however it is safe to say according to Bort that this will be accurate and indeed will eventually make its way to America as well.
This is great news for platformer fans, because not only is this in my opinion one of the best games ever, but it is also quite uncommon. Prices on eBay can become pretty random, but overall the game is not cheap. After the jump watch a gameplay video of Klonoa on PSX.


























I have heard much about this game on Digital Press and from other retro gamers about it being an incredible platformer. However has anyone bought any of these PSN PS1 downloads, how good is the emulation, are they faithful versions?
From what I have read they are very faithful versions, and yes Klonoa is probably one of the definitive platformers in my book. Characters, music, graphics, gameplay, world, its all amazingly done. Anyone that has never played this game should not hesitate to download it, I know you wont regret it.
Every PS3, even the gimped ones has the ps1 chipset inside. Think it’s around 80 odd percent of PS1 games will work correctly.
What is a fair price to pay for the original?
complete, you can proably nab one for $25 if you waited long enough, otherwise usualy in the $35-50 range.
